Setting Up Agents in Impact Pilot


1. Accessing Settings 0:00

  • Go to app.impactpilot.io.
  • Click on your name in the top right corner.
  • Select 'Settings'.
  • If you do not have access, contact your admin or email support.

2. Mapping Key Properties 0:24

  • Navigate to 'AI Insights'.

    Map key properties such as:

    • Revenue (e.g., ARR)
    • Contract end date
    • Auto-renewal field
  • Save the changes.

3. Setting Up an Agent 1:08

  • In 'AI Insights', select 'Set Up an Agent'.
  • Choose the type of agent to set up (e.g., risk detection).

4. Selecting Insights to Flag 1:36

  • Choose the risks you want to flag:
    • Product issues
    • Renewal risk
    • No active engagements
    • Invoicing or payment issues.
  • You can change these later

5. Tweaking Selected Insights 2:06

  • For each selected risk, provide specific conditions:
    • Example for renewal risk: 'Flag if contract end date is less than 60 days away and no auto-renewal.'
  • Add descriptions for clarity.

6. Adding Custom Insights

  • If needed, add custom risks (e.g., adoption risk).
  • Define conditions for the custom risk (e.g., adoption metric declines by more than 50%).
  • Include relevant properties (e.g., monthly active users) and their history.

7. Naming the Agent 4:30

  • Give the agent a descriptive name (e.g., 'Risk Detection').
  • Select the types of engagements to analyze (e.g., all engagements).

8. Setting Time Window 4:41

  • Choose a rolling time window for analysis (e.g., 30 days).

9. Adding Instructions 5:04

  • Optionally, add specific instructions for the agent.
  • This can help in explaining rationale or addressing anomalies.

10. Saving and Activating the Agent 5:22


  • Save the insights.
  • Switch the agent on to activate it.
  • Click the button to run it for all agents.

11. Viewing Results 5:51

  • Go to 'Accounts' to view the property created for risk detection.
  • Click on the risks to see detailed results and reasons for detection.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access settings.
  • Be cautious when selecting risks to avoid flagging resolved issues.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Regularly review and update the risks and conditions to ensure relevance.
  • Utilize the history of properties to better understand trends.
